Pripyat III

Abandoned bumper cars found in the amusement park in the city of Prypiat, Ukraine. The city is preserved in time, having been evacuated in 1986 due to the explosion of reactor number four at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant (Чернобыльская АЭС). A three exposure HDR image processed using Photomatix and Lightroom.

Liverpool I

This weekend I traveled to Liverpool (2008 European capital of culture), and took far too many pictures! Therefore, as a 'treat', I'll be having a 'Liverpool Week'. This first photo is of the gateway to Liverpool's China town, reputedly the oldest in the world. [Taken: 7th June 2008]
