Peak District XIII

An alternative view of a photo uploaded some time ago. A highland cow seen not too far from Curbar Edge in the Peak District. I walked past this guy in fading light, he seemed very inquisitive and came within a metre before wandering off. A three exposure HDR image processed using Photomatix and Adobe Lightroom.

Nottingham XLIII

I'm reasonably pleased with the processing on this, despite the overcast and gloomy weather. A three exposure HDR image processed using Photomatix and adjusted using Adobe Lightroom.

Nottingham XLII

A purple 'allium hollandicum' found in a garden in Nottingham. This was taken using a sigma 70-300 mm, a lens I am still not overly enamoured with. A single exposure processed using Adobe Lightroom.

Attenborough IX

A grey squirrel found sitting in a tree at Attenborough Nature Reserve. Taken using a Canon EOS 500D with 18-55 mm EF-S kit lens. A single shot processed using Adobe Lightroom.

Peak District XII

The sun setting over fields in the Peak District. This is a view not far from the start of White Edge. A three exposure HDR image processed using Photomatix and adjusted in Lightroom.

The view from Curbar Edge in the Peak District. This was part of a fantastic walk that took us along Curbar Edge and White Edge on a glorious winter day. Another view can be found here.
