This the Arno River in Pisa, Italy. Unfortunately I have no 'good' pictures of the famous leaning tower, so this will remain as quite possibly my only photo from Pisa. [Taken: 13th June 2007]
This is the view of one of the many beautiful buildings in Vienna, as seen from a rose garden (which incidentally had virtually every type of rose you could imagine in it). [Taken: 9th June 2007]
This is the view of La Défense, the financial centre in Paris. The photo was taken from the top of the Arc de Triomphe, also you can see the Grande Arche in the middle. [Taken: 19th April 2006]
A view of the Deutsche-Bank towers in Frankfurt am Main. This was the first city I ever visited that had many high rise buildings, and I was in awe for the whole time that I was there. [Taken: 10th March 2007]
Well here is my first "wildlife" photo. There really wasn't any intention of taking any arty shots (as you can see), I just thought the donkeys looked slightly funny! Maybe if I make this picture back and white then it might look professional (taken: 4th July 2006).
Here's the view of the castle in Prague with the river Vltava running along the front. I liked Prague, but felt that it's been spoilt somewhat over recent years by tourists (taken: 9th June 2007).
This is a crazy fountain I saw in Vienna, Austria. Vienna is quite possibly the cleanest city I've ever visited, with some truly amazing architecture (taken: 9th June 2007).
This is my third photo from Rhodes and shows the view of the town of Lindos from near it's acropolis. Lindos is great little town, a very traditional Greek town that has opened its doors to respectful tourists (taken: 4th July 2006).
The second photo from the small village of Greenmount. This one shows the local hill, Holcombe Hill, with Peel Tower monument on top (taken: 23rd March 2008).
This is the view from the top of the Eiffel Tower looking towards La Défense, the financial district of Paris. In the foreground you can also see the Trocadéro, there will be more photos from Paris to come at a later date (taken: 19th April 2006).
The sun setting over the white cliffs of Dover. There is something very welcoming about coming to England on a ferry and being able to see the white cliffs (taken: 20th June 2007).
I took this photo at what remains of the infamous Checkpoint Charlie, Berlin. I believe this isn't the original sign, but still remains an important landmark in the history of Berlin (taken: 7th June 2006).
These are the famous Red Arrows (minus one plane) performing at the British GP 2007. I find it amazing how precise their manoeuvres are, especially as such fast speeds (taken: 8th July 2007).
This is the view from Brighton's remaining pier, looking towards the beach front, you can also see the remnants of the old pier (taken: 4th April 2007).
This is my second photo from the Greek island of Rhodes, this time it's the view from the top of the ancient city of Kameiros, looking out towards the sea (taken: 30th June 2006).
This is the view of Monaco with it's expensive harbour in front. I loved every moment of visiting Monaco (even though it was only for a few hours), there is something awe inspiring about such a famous city (taken: 17th June 2007).
My second night shot of London. This is the view from Tower Bridge looking towards HMS Belfast. Again the red glow is present for reasons as explained earlier (taken: 11th March 2006).
This is the view from an old railway bridge over a lake near Greenmount, north of England. It had just snowed a small amount over night and you can still see some on the ground (taken: 23rd March 2008).
Here's one from Amsterdam showing the famous multi-story bike storage thing. (taken on 6th June 2007). I'm amazed people can actually remember where they left their bike.
Here's the view from the castle in Bratislava on the 11th June 2006. Bratislava is wonderfully unspoilt city and I'm sure I'll post some more from this beautiful city in weeks to come.
This is a night shot of the Tower of London (taken on 11th March 2006). I used a long exposure to ensure the image came out, and in the process inadvertently gained the red tint to the photo (most likely due to all the light pollution in London).
This is one of my top ranking favourites in my photo collection (I even had this one printed and framed). Taken on the 4th June 2006 it shows the view of the beach at Lindos on Rhodes Island, Greece.
This photo was taken on the 18th June 2007 and shows Geneva as viewed across across Lake Geneva. Most prominent in this photo is the Jet d'Eau, which is capable of pumping water up to 140 metres high and is arguably the largest fountain in the world.
I've decided to join the masses and create a "Photoblog", the only name left that was vaguely similar to this was "Pixog". I enjoy taking pictures, but only ever view my efforts as amateurish, so I've decided to share some of my favourites with the world and see what you think!
