The Finance Tower (Tour des Finances, Financietoren) is a skyscraper in the Northern Quarter central business district of Brussels, Belgium, designed by the architects Hugo Van Kuyck, Marcel Lambrichs and Léon Stynen. It is the second tallest building in Belgium, and has the most office space of any building in Belgium. A single shot taken with a Canon EOS 500D and kit 18-55mm lens, processed using Adobe Lightroom.
The sun slowly setting over Downtown Jersey City. Processing may be a little bit too much on this one, hence the halos on the buildings. Three exposure HDR image processed with Photomatix and adjusted in Lightroom.

Time for my second photo from Frankfurt, this time it's the skyline as viewed during the day. There was something about Frankfurt that I really loved, I think it may have been the striking contrast between new and old buildings, with small historic buildings surround by huge glass and steel skyscrapers.
Next up is another picture taken last year (10th March 2007), whilst in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Frankfurt has more skyscrapers than any other European city, giving it a fantastic skyline. I took quite a few pictures whilst I was there, so expect more to get featured in the not too distant future.I've decided to join the masses and create a "Photoblog", the only name left that was vaguely similar to this was "Pixog". I enjoy taking pictures, but only ever view my efforts as amateurish, so I've decided to share some of my favourites with the world and see what you think!
Currently I'm using a Canon EOS 500D and a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ10. In the past I've used a Samsung Digimax A6 (my first ever camera) and a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3. Software used for editing includes Photomatix Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, GIMP and Hugin.
