Up In The Air!

Here is an opportunist photo taken through the window of plane on the way back from Frankfurt (12th March 2007). I think I should really try and get some money off Ryanair due to the free publicity I am giving them!

Venice I

The view from one of the many bridges over the Grand Canal in Venice, taken on the 12th of June 2007. Venice is a beautiful city, unique and historic, and very easy to get lost in!

British GP 2007 I

0004 - England, SilverstoneThis photo was taken when I went to the 2007 British GP at Silverstone. Taken during the Historic Sports Car Challenge on the Sunday, it shows the Lola T70 Spyder driven by Nick Linney (I think that's correct). This is probably my best photo taken during the weekend, especially since it is virtually impossible to capture a good image of a fast moving car (at least with my rubbish camera!).

Frankfurt II

0003 - Frankfurt skyline Time for my second photo from Frankfurt, this time it's the skyline as viewed during the day. There was something about Frankfurt that I really loved, I think it may have been the striking contrast between new and old buildings, with small historic buildings surround by huge glass and steel skyscrapers.

Frankfurt I

0002 - Germany, Frankfurt, Night SkylineNext up is another picture taken last year (10th March 2007), whilst in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Frankfurt has more skyscrapers than any other European city, giving it a fantastic skyline. I took quite a few pictures whilst I was there, so expect more to get featured in the not too distant future.

First Post!!

0001 - Italian HillsSo here's the first entry in my new Photoblog. This is a photo I took last year (13th June 2007, to be precise) somewhere between Maranello and Pisa. The rolling Italian hills provided some stunning scenery, so I did the touristy thing and took a photo from the window of a moving car. I didn't aim to do anything arty or special, just an average tourist shot really, yet the resulting picture is really satisfying.
